Frank Giannantonio MS, ATC, C.S.C.S. 
Founder: Director of Strength and Conditioning

Frank Giannantonio is one of the area’s leading experts in enhancing human performance and athletic development. He brings nearly two decades of scientific and practical experience, and holds certifications in strength and conditioning, and athletic training. Additionally, Giannantonio holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Movement Science. As the founder and Director of Strength and Conditioning, Giannantonio closely oversees all training programs, ensuring clients the safest, most effective routines available. 

Gina Sullivan

Gina is a lifelong fitness advocate and an AFAA Certified Fitness Instructor. Since she started group training, Gina has lead instruction for numerous classes including Strength Training, Cardio/Strength Interval Training, Lower Body Meltdown, Circuit Training, Cardio Kickboxing, Cardio Trampoline and Boot Camp classes. Gina is a Certified Spinning® Instructor as well as a Personal Trainer. In 2010, Gina competed in the INBF New York State Bodybuilding & Figure Championships, taking First Place in the Women's Figure category. 

Mike Fox, CSCS, Nutritionist and Fascia Stretch

Throughout his career, Mike has experience training a number of prominent athletes including Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Titans offensive lineman Jacob Bell, and New Jersey Devils defenseman Andy Greene. In addition, he has led group exercise sessions for overweight adolescents and children at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and counseled adult patients at the Healthy Weight Management program in Oxford, Ohio.

 

Mike received a Bachelor’s degree in health and sport studies with a concentration on exercise science from “the Cradle of Coaches” at Miami University of Ohio. He was a defender on the Redhawk lacrosse team and proceeded to become a student-assistant strength and conditioning coach for a number of varsity teams. Mike graduated from Don Bosco in 2001, where he was an All-County football and lacrosse player, lacrosse Hall of Fame inductee in 2007, and multiple award winner. He is also currently earning his Masters in Nutrition and Food Science at Montclair State University and strength and conditioning consultant for the McGill University Redmen lacrosse team in Montreal, Canada. 

Matt Henry

Matt is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Recreation Management. While at UNH, he served as a wide receiver and punter for the Wildcats’ football squad. Additionally, Matt played on the UNH basketball team freshmen year. He holds a personal training (PT) certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has been training clients for more than seven years. He also works with kids of all ages, teaching basketball skills and fundamentals. A 2002 graduate of Cresskill High School, Matt played football, basketball and baseball for four years and was Cresskill’s All-Time Leading Scorer in basketball with close to 1,800 points. In 2011, Matt punted for Marty Schottenheimer and the Virginia Destroyers of the UFL. He won a championship there while playing with the team.

Lou Rushock

 Lou is a graduate of Rutgers University where he received his BS in Exercise Science and Sports studies, with a concentration in Exercise Physiology.  He holds a CSCS certification, a personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has been training clients for more than 9 years.  Lou served as an assistant coach for the Rigdewood Boys Varsity Soccer team and was the Strength and Conditioning coach for the high school boys soccer program for two years.  A 1999 graduate of Dumont High School, Lou played varsity soccer, basketball and baseball for four years.  In Soccer he received All League, All County, and All State honors. In Basketball he received All League honors.

Dustin Thomas

 

Dustin Thomas, better known as Coach D, is a speed and strength coach as well as motivational speaker.

 

Coach D was born and raised in Ridgewood, NJ and grew up playing American Football, Baseball, Basketball and Track & Field in which he still currently holds school records in the 100 and 200 meter dash as well as most the most combined points scored in a season from 1998. His All-American accomplishments in track in field led him to attend the University of South Carolina in which he was a member of the nationally ranked Track & Field program coached by USATF Hall of Fame Coach Curtis Frye.

 

After 2 years post collegiate competition training with Nike Speed Elite Club Team in an attempt to make a US Olympic Team and run on the professional circuit Coach D's real passion and career as a speed and strength coach began. In 2005, as an employee of Force Performance Trainer Center Coach D began dedicating his life to the development of a program targeted towards enhancing the fitness, speed, strength and agility of athletes. In 2008, Coach D founded Speed University with a "No Excuses, Just Results" mentality that has been tried and proven to get maximum results. Speed U has been a key component in the development of some of the nation's best athletes at a scholastic, collegiate and professional level in a variety of sports arenas including but not limited to Football, Soccer, Lacrosse,  Basketball, and Track & Field.

 

The Speed U Program is a change to the body and mind that can be seen on and off the field.
